Excursion dedicated to those wishing to discover the entire Caldera of Santorini, lasts about 6 hoursthe port of departure is the New Port of Athinios, for this reason if you can’t reach the port on your own, we can provide transfers round trip from your hotel, with additional cost.
The excursion starts from Athinios port, where traditional Greek-Turkish boats called Caicchi, real wooden schooners, very well maintained used to sail the deep waters of the caldera to explore it and discover the volcanic islands.
The first stop is on the island of Nea Kameni, also known as the active volcano, where the guide will accompany you to the top where the active area is located, with fumaroles and solfataras. This break lasts about 90 minutes, then you return to the boat and continue towards the island of Palia Kameni, where you stop in the bay of San Nicola, for those wishing to swim to the thermal waters. The third break is on the island of Thirassia, precisely in the bay of Korfos, where you will find small taverns by the sea, rocky beaches to take a bath in the crystal clear waters and for those who want, through the 200 steps you can reach the traditional village of Manolas.
Finally we return to the port of departure where the excursion ends.
