After getting off the ship you enter the bus which will be under the ship. After everyone has entered, we leave the port to reach the town of Taormina 80km far from Catania. Taormina occupies the ancient site, on a hill which forms the last projecting point of the mountain ridge that extends along the coast from Cape Pelorus to this point. The site of the old town is about 250 metres above the sea, while a very steep and almost isolated rock, crowned by a Saracen castle, rises about 150 metres. We will stop to visit Taormina for 2.5 hours to visit the little traditional town, who wants can also enjoy the lunch. After the visit of Taormina we will return to Catania doing also a bus sightseeing until we get back at the port.
