Set sail from Vlychada Marina early in the morning and follow the coastline. Reach the Red Beach in Akrotiri, one of the most beautiful beaches of the island. Its distinct red coloration is caused by the rich in minerals and iron soil. Furthermore, sail to the White Beach, which is only accessible by boat. A stop for swimming and snorkeling is highly recommended. No one can resist the crystal clear blue waters with the rich underwater environment and reefs. Leaving the White Beach and heading to the Venetian Lighthouse, sail below the Indian Rocks through caves and rock formations, characteristic to the Aegean landscape.
Sail past the Lighthouse and enter the Caldera Bay; There, you will see everything unfolding in front of your eyes. The picturesque white houses are hanging from the cliffs. Rock formations of the volcanic islands of Palea and Nea Kammeni unfold before your eyes. Sail below the traditional villages of Fira and Imerovigli and experience the landscapes consisted of basalt and pumice. Finally, our experienced captain will drive you around the Palaia Kameni for a full view of the Crater.
Palea Kammeni, an inhabitant volcanic island next to the volcano, offers unique private bays and beaches, ideal for swimming and snorkeling, perfect to enjoy your own privacy away from crowded locations. As you enjoy yourselves the attentive crew will prepare freshly on board a delicious meal consisted of a buffet/ snack menu with traditional dishes and Greek appetizers, accompanied with local white wine and beverages. After lunch we will open sails back to Vlychada port.
